 ility - BeCOVER 
DESCRIPTION:BeCOVER is a unique aerodynamics test center in Europe that wil
 l accommodate all types of compressors (both LP and HP) for the next gener
 ation of civil and military aircraft engines. BeCOVER will have exceptiona
 l technical capabilities\, including a closed air-loop system\, making it 
 possible to test turbomachine components under conditions at altitude and 
 on the ground. This talk provides a perspective of the challenges faced du
 ring the design of such cutting-edge technology facility on both a system-
 engineering standpoint and an aerodynamics standpoint giving examples of m
 odeling techniques developed\, too.
