 The event aims to bring together OpenFOAM users as well as those intereste
 d in potential applications of the code\, both for academic and industrial
  purposes. The seminar will be held in hybrid mode\, and it will be organi
 zed in the following way:

 n on “Simulating sloshing dynamics: a practical guide using OpenFOAM” 
 by Antonio Cantiani Sloshing phenomena\, prevalent in engineering applicat
 ions ranging from aerospace to maritime industries\, as well as in nuclear
  applications\, present unique challenges that demand accurate modeling te
 chniques. This seminar offers a comprehensive exploration of sloshing dyna
 mics\, guiding participants through the process of modifying OpenFOAM v9 s
 olvers to incorporate variable gravity acceleration and implementing appro
 priate boundary conditions to properly model experimental setups.Participa
 nts will gain valuable insights into the intricacies of sloshing dynamics 
 simulation\, learning how to harness the power of OpenFOAM to accurately m
 odel fluid behavior. The seminar will combine the theoretical background a
 nd practical demonstrations to follow step-by-step\, providing a unique op
